Dr. Jean Joaquim

Dr. Jean Joaquim, DVM, MSc, PhD, LAc, is a globally respected leader in integrative veterinary medicine whose career spans more than two decades of innovation, research, and clinical excellence. A graduate of São Paulo State University (UNESP), where he earned his veterinary degree, master’s, and PhD—with research focused on acupuncture and intervertebral disc disease—Dr. Joaquim has built deep expertise in neurology, pain management, sports medicine, and regenerative therapies.


An internationally sought-after speaker and educator, Dr. Joaquim has delivered over 500 lectures and authored more than 50 scientific publications, helping shape the future of complementary and integrative veterinary medicine worldwide. He has held influential leadership roles across major global organizations while also serving as Scientific Coordinator at the Bioethicus Institute.

Jonathan Lowe is one of the foremost experts on ozone therapy for animals in the world and the author of the first book of its kind, The Essential Guide to Ozone Therapy for Animals. He is an entrepreneur, public speaker and the founder of the International Veterinary Ozone Therapy Summit – the first event of its kind designed to bring together thought leaders from around the world.

His dedication to evidence-based medicine that works in synergy with the body’s biological mechanisms to bring healing is at the core of his quest to see ozone therapy become a central modality in every veterinary clinic. He is also the founder of O3Vets which received the Innovation Award from the Innovative Veterinary Care Journal. To make thing easy, we'll meet at the same venue as the AHVMA conference. Relax by the pool or head over to their gym and get in a good workout before the day begins in this pet-friendly hotel.

FAQ

Which airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Saint Louis since it's a short drive to where we will be holding the training course. 

What hotel should I stay at?

The AHVMA conference will be held at the Town and Country Resort starting on Saturday. We will be holding our training class there on Thursday and Friday to make it a convenient transition if you intend to stay for the conference.

Will I need my own transportation?

Public transportation, Uber and Lyft are all options but renting a car makes it more convenient. Keep in mind that it costs $15/day to park at the hotel.

Will this course be CE certified?

Currently we are RAIVE approved. This approval is accepted in the following states: 

AK, AR, CA, CT, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV, VT, MA, RI, UT

Can I livestream the course instead of attending in person?

We are not going to be live streaming this event so any attendence must be in person.
